Double Bubble

In cases where the natural breast size has changed dramatically since a breast implant surgery or where the natural breast tissue has become droopy (as in after pregnancy), a size and shape difference may exist between the implant which has a fixed shape and your natural breast which has changed. This shape mismatch can lead to a “double bubble” appearance. Your surgical options at this point include changing your implant to a more correct size, and / or a breast lift to correct the breast size while performing a lift at the same time. Other factors which affect your outcome include breast implant firmness or capsular contracture which would require a capsule procedure as well.
