Too Much Tissue was Removed

In the older days until several years ago it was fashionable among plastic surgeons to remove what seems to have been as much tissue as possible from the nose. This included removing bone, cartilage and soft tissues or the nose which leading to the classic turned-up ski slope nose. The problem became milder as the years progressed, but we still encounter noses where an excess of tissue was removed leading to a cosmetically unappealing nose or a nose which is imbalanced with the rest of the face. Other problems resulting from excess tissue removal are difficulty breathing due to collapsed nostrils, constricted airways from poor scarring inside the nose, and visual or palpable irregularity of the nasal contour or shape. To correct such problem, cartilage and other material such as bone or even fillers like Restylane and Radiesse can be used to tactically build-up the nose once again.
