Measurement
The most important factor in choosing the ideal implant size for your body is your chest measurement. Measurements of your breast dimensions in relation to your chest lead to an implant volume which would appear the most natural. You are of course able to go smaller or larger than this ideal implant size while maintaining a natural look. Extreme variances from this ideal volume, though, can lead to a mismatch between your breasts and the implants (as in placing a small marble on your chest) or a noticeable step-off at the upper aspect of your breast (as in a large ball on your chest) both of which can appear unnatural or fake. We will be more than happy to guide you through the selection process and will spend as much time and as many consultations as necessary to aid you in choosing your ideal size. One valuable tool in aiding you with choosing your desired size is photographs of other women’s breasts which you happen to admire. It’s easy to extrapolate your desired breast implant size from these photos.
As a caveat, petite women with narrow chests desiring larger implants often require higher profile implants which have a narrower diameter. In this way, it’s easy to accommodate a larger volume a narrow chest without the implants projecting too much into the sides of the chest or even sticking together at the center of the chest.
